If you do not wish to participate, your deadline to submit an Exclusion Form is September 10, 2012.

four seasons beverly hills carol gillamCarol Gillam was honored by the Daily Journal as one of the Top Women Lawyers in California. She was the only plaintiff-side employment lawyer in the State of California to receive this honor. An article about Carol appeared in the special edition of the Daily Journal sent to judges, lawyers and others throughout California. The top 100 women lawyers so named represent 1/8 of 1% of the state's women lawyers. The ceremony took place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills on May 9, 2012.

school bus 2The Gillam Law Firm and the Law Offices of Thomas Falvey have brought another large class action against a major school bus company. Tyrer v. First Student, Inc. challenges pay practices involving school bus drivers throughout California,and charges that they were not paid for all hours worked. The case is pending in Los Angeles Superior Court.

uscPreliminary class action approval for service workers at the University of Southern California. Carol Gillam and Peggy Farrell have been appointed class counsel to implement a settlement reached on behalf of servers at two on-campus restaurants on USC's main campus. Claim forms will be mailed out in June 2012.

school busGillam Law firm obtained final court approval for a class action involving thousands of school bus drivers across the state. A fund of $7 million has been distributed. McKinlay v. Durham School Services. The Los Angeles Superior Court praised the firm's efforts in tracking down drivers to obtain a very high claims rate.
